Arrive in Johannesburg - Cradle of Humankind
Once you reach the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, you will be greeted by our tour representatives who will take you to your hotel.
After you have freshened up and had some time to relax, you can head out to visit the Cradle of Humankind, which is a paleoanthropological site and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is known to have the world’s biggest concentration of human ancestral remains.
Head back to your hotel later in the evening and get a good night’s sleep.
Soweto - Hector Pieterson Museum
Leave for the township of Soweto on the second day of your trip. Your first stop will be the Hector Pieterson Museum which was named in honor of Hector Pieterson and provides tourists with information about the anti-Apartheid Soweto Uprising.
After that, you will be taken to the Regina Mundi Catholic Church, which is the biggest Roman Catholic church in South Africa. The last stop of the day will be the Apartheid Museum which discusses the history of apartheid in the country.
Durban - KwaZulu-Natal - Isandlwana
Take a flight to the city of Durban where the coastal province of KwaZulu-Natal awaits you. Pay a visit to the battlefields where a bloody battle was fought in the 19th century between the British, the Boers, and the Zulus.
You can also learn more about the battles of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift while you’re in the region. Spend the night at a hotel near the battlefields.
Cape Town - Robben Island
Board a flight to Cape Town on the fourth day of your fabulous trip. Once you reach the city, you will be taking a ferry to Robben Island, which is where Nelson Mandela had been imprisoned.
Get back to Cape Town once you’re done exploring the area, after which you can spend the rest of the day as you like.
Castle of Good Hope - District Six Museum
This particular day of your trip will be dedicated to unveiling some of the most popular landmarks in the city of Cape Town. The first spot you will be going to is the Castle of Good Hope which was built in the 17th century and is the oldest surviving building in the country.
Following this, you can head on to the District Six Museum, whose main goal is to allow people to be a part of a community that respects the presence of different kinds of races under one roof. End the day on a bright note by visiting the Bo-Kaap neighborhood which is renowned for its brightly colored homes.
Robben Island Museum - Cape of Good Hope
The Robben Island Museum is where you will be going on the second-last day of your vacation. This is the place that is responsible for maintaining the status of Robben Island as a World Heritage Site.
You will then be driven to Cape Point which is home to the Cape of Good Hope where you can stop and take in the mesmerizing landscapes. Adding to the scenic beauty of the day will be the Cape Point Lighthouse.
Depart from Cape Town
After you are done with your breakfast, you will be heading to the airport to board your flight back home.
